Collecting, do qualities check, and storing the information of mine and explosive remnants of war (ERW) into IMSMA in order to produce a quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports which will be provided to all operators and other relevant institutions. Also providing training and technical assistance in data management of Mine action to all stakeholders, especially to those using IMSMA Core.

13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The project objective is to make sure that Cambodia has sufficient information in the Mine Action database which can be used to report on behalf of the States Parties in the Ottawa Convention accurately. This can be achieved by working with all the operators and other partners across the country to strengthen the capacity of technical staff by providing technical assistance in inflow &out flow information management. The project will also focus on strengthening data quality control and integrating relevant data into national mine database by using database management system IMSMA Core .

This project focuses on the provision of technical assistance to strengthen the daily duties DATABASE UNIT.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
Information management system for mine action project is essential for the planning of clearance, explosive ordnance risk education, victim assistance and other various socio economic analysis.
