- Increase the capacity of water treatment plant for 6 public waterworks
- Improve and extend the pipeline system in 5 Provincial towns
- New treatment plant and network in Stung Treng province
- Pipe network expansion in Siem Reap |

- Rapid growth of urban population, and many urban residents lack access to adequate and safe water supply services
- Typical problems include old piping, inadequate coverage, poor operation and maintenance (O&M), intermittent supply of water, water quality issues, and high levels of nonrevenue water (NRW). |

The women will benefit a lot from the project because normally women are taking care on the water consumption for their families. So after project complete, they will not spend a lot of time to take the water for the family consumption. |

Yes, with the assistance from Project Implementation Assistant Consultant, Ministry of Industry & Handicraft will have enough capacity to implement the project.

- Design Build of Water Supply project at Stung Treng has been awarded to KIM MEX and SPBH joint venture on 19th December 2019. The contractor is doing detail design and starting construction.
- The Contract NCB / C1a Urgent WTP rehabilitation civil contractor for 5 towns continues to improved his progress in Stoung civil works on underground tank and pump station and clean water tank in Kampong Thom. |
