Through the project, the school environment and community involvement have been improved, and children with disabilities now have more chance to access education. After their graduation from school, however, the employment opportunities for PWDs are still very limited due to various reasons: 1) lack of places where PWDs can learn quality skills by quality trainers who understand the importance of disability inclusion; 2) lack of information sharing system about vocational training opportunity for PWDs; 3) lack of understanding on the employment for PWDs among potential workplaces. In Cambodia, females with disabilities face more challenges among other groups due to disability-based and gender-based discrimination. |
