13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to formalize a general framework for cooperative relationship and activity between MoWA and Pact in their mutual commitment and strengthen the bilateral cooperation toward promoting Women's Economic Empowerment and strengthening Gender Mainstreaming to leverage the potential of women in the economic sector in particular to in the context of preparation for Digital Economy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), strongly in line with MoWA's five-year strategic plan called "Neary Rattanak V (2019-2023) and a rolling strategic plan of MoWA.
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
- Collaborate on expanding opportunities and an enabling environment for women-led businesses with inclusiveness and innovative entrepreneurship. - Collaborate on expanding the support for women to acquire professional skills, especially in line with the needs of the digital economy and inclusivity: business skills, entrepreneurship, digital marketing skills, and so on, based on needs. - Promote the attention and support of women's activities in informal micro and small businesses. - Other potential areas in the future project.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
-Support relevant public forums and campaigns to share experiences and inspiration in leadership and to promote gender equality and .women's economic empowerment between previous, current, and future generations. - Promote awareness and seek support for the major challenges and needs of women in MSMEs in national dialogue and policies in response to the context of globalization, the digital economy, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0). E.g. Support Digital Literacy and Digital Marketing skills to women nominated by Provincial Women Development Center. - Support relevant Policy Dialogue in promoting gender mainstreaming and women in the informal sector into the policy agenda and intervention. E.g., Constructive Dialogue on presenting policy brief on the major needs of women in the informal economy (street vendors) and recommendations for response and policy interventions.

The project will involve women in activities -Providing a conducive enabling environment for women-owned businesses with a modern and innovative entrepreneurship. -Opportunities to receive support for women to access professional programs that are in line with the needs of the digital economy and modern, such as: skills in business development, entrepreneurship and digital marketing, etc., tailored to women's needs. -Promoting attention and support for women's activities related to the development of micro and small businesses, especially informal businesses. -Opportunities to receive support for other potential activities for future projects for women.

Yes, MoWA has experiences and human resource to implement the project.
23. STATUS OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: (Provide a brief update on the progress of the project to date. Discuss any major problems causing delays in project implementation.)
Conducted a small study and compiled the situation of women street vendors to understand the needs, challenges, and prioritize work for women street vendors, and to develop the capacity, skills, and knowledge to develop businesses and increase women's family income.
