The program aims to develop TVET teachers, TVET policy makers and skilled workers who not only have advanced skills knowledge but also human resource capabilities.

building the capacity of Cambodian TVET officials and teachers through invited training courses lasting: (1)-1 year for TVET professional development (Master’s degree in TVET), (2)-12 weeks for TVET teacher training (studying on technology and HRD), (3)-2 weeks for capacity building for TVET policy makers (studying on employment, labor and TVET), and (4)-4 weeks for skilled worker training (studying on engineering education and internal technical competition). |

According to many research projects of international organization, one of the key factors for economic progress is the provision of skills to support industrialization. So far, Cambodia government has tried to cultivate its workforces by establishing many TVET institutions in collaboration with the Korean government and other stakeholders. Also, industries of Cambodia have become more developed, it is necessary to foster more TVET specialists. This program and similar ones are designed to foster TVET specialists who will be in charge of the 4th Industrial Revolution in Cambodia It will be able not only to conduct one of the follow-up programs of ODA projects, but also to be a main key breakthrough for the challenges of TVET industries. |
