The project objective is apply to Ministry of Rural Development's policy in program one is Development of Physical and Transport Infrastructure which focus on rural road quality improvement and good condition to adopt with climate change by upgrade road cover to DBST or Concrete. Moreover the project outcome also provide an advantages to rural people such as Easy to travel, Save time, cost saving of goods transportation, easy to get public service, and job creation opportunity for income improvement.

13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The project objective aims to re-access the rural road connectivity, all-weathers, all year reliable connectivity to meet basic needs, and promote economic and social opportunities, access to services and development opportunities.
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
The selected rural roads of 600 km road length which affected by flood damage in the province of Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat and Kompong Chhnang will be reconstructed to improve accessibility to markets and services and Post Covid-19 Economic Recovery. Rural population in the target provinces have access to climate-resilient DBST or Concrete rural roads, especially farmers can transport the agricultural products to markets in all-weathers.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
This project is mainly developed toward the climate resilience rural road connectivity and ensure the all-season access for integrated rural development. Build back better the rural roads that have been jeopardized by recent​​ flood and targeted for most affected provinces. Furthermore, this project is also provide an advantages to rural people such as Easy to travel, Save time, cost saving of goods transportation, easy to get public service, and job creation opportunity for income improvement
