13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
Contribute to nurturing professional medical personel with good quality of education through utilizing the UHS teaching Hospital as a training and practicing institute in Cambodia provide modern medical services to the public through inprovement of healthcare infrastructure through establishing the hospital equipped with the advanced medical equipment and hospital information system (HIS)
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
Establishing Teaching Hopital of the University of health Sciences is for the education of health sciences students with a systematic, consistant and intergrated clinical training curriculum, and provision of more clinical expriences with more patients are critical for public health development in Cambodia. This teaching hospital will provide modern health service and to train health sciences students and other health workforces. This teaching hopistal willl operate with 200 beds in the project and plan to extend to 400 beds in the future.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
The pre-service training in health sector is a key to ensure the quality of health care in the whole country. The teaching Hopsital will contribute to improvement of the capacity of health workforces in Cambodia.

All student​s at university health science and the people in Cambodia will be benefit from the training, research and innovation and health services​ with the hight quality through this teaching hopsital

The consultants for detailed design, Procurement Assistance and Construction Supervision service has been hired through the procurement process. -The Bidding document for the procurement of construction package is on the process of advertisement. -The procurement of medical equipment and HIS package is on the process of revising bidding document.
