13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The program is aimed to support the Kingdom of Cambodia in addressing gaps in access to water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, in particular in rural areas, and ultimately to achieve the target of universal access to WASH by 2030
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
The program will have three outputs as follows: 1: Resilient, inclusive, and safely managed rural water supply services improved and expanded 2: Resilient, inclusive, and safely managed rural sanitation services and hygiene practices improved and expanded 3: Institutional capacity and regulatory framework strengthened for sustainability and climate resilience

The provision of WASH services has not been given to all people in rural areas, so this project will play a vital role to ensure that they all can have access to WASH services.

People in rural areas, specifically those in the nine targeted provinces
