|
The inactive phenomenon of children and youth who abuse drugs are increasing concernedly. To prevent and receive them for providing treatment, care, education and rehabilitation that will help eliminate the anarchism activities in public places, reduce domestic violence, and develop human resource, MoSVY needs to establish this center for receiving 1,200 of 30,000 drug addicts to provide treatment and care service, education and vocational training for making them become good citizens in society. |

The main purpose of this project is to neutralize, treatment, education, rehabilitation, vocational training and integration of drug addicts into the community and family to contribute to the maintenance of security and public order in society. |

This Center is in Trapaeng Moul Village, Cheung Ko Commune, Preynub District, Preah Sihanouk Province.
- Renovation of building = 150,000 USD
- Equipment = 100,000 USD
- Other = 4,000 USD

The number of victims of drug abuse has been increasing from year to year. Obviously depending on the report of National Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation of Drug Addicts, there are 1,449 drug addicts in 2013 up to 10,178 drug addicts in 2017. |

Children and youth who abused addictive substance and drug addicts who are living in the community receive detoxification service, treatment, care, moral education and vocational training to contribute to village-commune safety and family economic improvement. |
