13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
To enhance the positive results of the previous projects financed by AFD and KfW which funded expansion, rehabilitation and consolidation of irrigation schemes and rural road rehabilitation with the objective of supporting agricultural development and better market access for rural communities. The main objective of the Project is to build up on the positive contributions to the economic and social development, especially poverty reduction within the rural population in the target provinces.
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
RID4CAM is working in provinces and areas identified by the MRD and will be implemented in two lots: • Lot 1 - Siem Reap Province, Battambang Provinces, Banteay Mean Chey Province, and • Lot 2 - Kandal and Prey Veng Provinces.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
The Bridges, laterite road surface is fast wearing and damage due to disaster and traffic, the cost of maintenance for laterite road also high.​

People in target provinces and other provinces will directly and indirectly benefit from this program.
