The project was signed MOU between Korea Forest Service and Forestry Administration on April 1, 2021 in Cambodia. This project will be implemented for three years over the period from 2022 to 2024 with the total budget of USD 2,300,000. |

- The Cambodia-Korea Recreational Site will be established
- Local communities’ income will be enhanced
- Capacity of FA staff and local people will be improved |

This project will reduce poverty through; (1)Motivate local people to participate recreational forest service, (2) Providing seed grants for livelihood improvement of participated village, (3)providing on-site vocational training, capacity building, and knowledge dissemination, (4)Providing on-site vocational training, awareness raising on forest recreation, capacity building, and knowledge dissemination, (5)Development and transfer of a forest recreational program in connection with community livelihood programs and (6) Providing opportunities for local communities to participate in rendering services and managing facilities. |

The project is implementing under technical support of Forest Welfare Institute (FoWI), Korea Forest Service to establish the new model of ecotourism called Forest Recreation. The priority participant will selected to attend training programs on recreational forest management and operation and Visiting Advanced area for forest manager, relevant officials and local people to Cultural tourism, Forest industry in Korea. |
