• Promote Logistics sector in Cambodia • Develop human resources on Logistics • Enhance national economy through the improvement of Logistics Capabilities • Research and develop Logistics sector • Design effective curriculum to respond to the needs of Logistics related skills • Equip Cambodian youth with practical Logistics knowledge and skills

National Institute of Logistics Training is established in order to provide Logistics related courses in all levels from short training certificate course to Bachelor and Master levels as the following: • Truck driving • Forklift operation • Warehouse operation • Customs brokerage • Logistics planning • Forecast planning • Inventory planning • Traffic planning • Load planning • Logistics/ supply chain analysis • Packaging operation • Operation management • Warehouse management • Procurement/ supply chain management • Customer service management • Sales and distribution • Transport and delivery • Business development management • Logistics and supply chain management • Port management • Project management • Data collection and analysis In addition, National Institute of Logistics Training will establish the following: • Library • Technology room • Practice room • Research and Development room • Store room • Administration, Lecturers and Director rooms • Meeting room • Conference hall • Canteen • Dormitory • Electricity store room • Parking • Sport yard • Other

• Solve logistics related problems • Respond to the needs of Logistics related skills • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Logistics services • Facilitate all kinds of business activities in Cambodia • Improve imports and exports • Attract Foreign Direct Investment • Reduce the cost of imported products • Serve industrial sector and agro-industrial sector • Improve Logistics Performance Index (LPI) rank • Help achieve Industrial Development Policy (IDP) 2015-2025 • Help achieve Rectangle Strategy Phase 4 of Royal Government of Cambodia

This project will not affect environment and local people, but there will provide immense benefits to Cambodia and Cambodian people because this project will equip Cambodian youth with specific skills related to Logistics which they can use it to prepare themselves to grab good job opportunities in order to serve Cambodia’s economy and to compete with global market,

This project will not affect men and women in any forms, but it will be very beneficial for them to grab a chance to be trained and educated regardless of gender.

MPWT has certain skills and experiences, but we still need some more experienced people, experts, and oversea trainers to help. And the National Institute of Logistics Training needs development partners to help support us for the continuation of this project.

The project will not cause problem or delay if fund is provided on time.
