Construct the road in order to facilitate conservation activity, and for tourism service at Koh Ker archaeological site

- Conduct Impact Assessment on archaeology, environment and social - Install safety sign - Undertake construction - 20 km long, 7 m wide, 10 cm thick
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
Currently, the Koh Ker archaeological site has a dirt road with dip and pothols in many sections, muddy in the rainy season, dusty in the dry season, and require regular mantenance every year. These factors adverely affect cultural landscape, environment, and sometimes cause accident to tourists. The construction of bituminous surface road will substantially contribute to temple conservation, improve landscape and environment as well as attract tourists to visit the Koh Ker archaeological site.

This project will benefit directly to the Royal Government of Cambodia through income generation, tourists and local community
