13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The Operational Control Center (OCC) project is a place to manage information on public transport mechanisms and on-road traffic conditions, which provide the following benefits: • Facilitate management of domestic passenger transport companies • Easy to track traffic condition of companies’ vehicles on the roads • Keep drivers alert (safety) • Contribute to addressing traffic congestion • Inform travelers and tourists of the travel destinations.
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
Operational Management Center (OCC) project is designed and equipped with: - Construct a center, with 8 meters wide and 12 meters long (commissioned by General Department of Land Transport) - OCC Equipment (Hardware, Software and Other Equipment) - Training of Project Implementation Officers.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
1- Passengers do not participate in public transport 2- The difficulty in managing domestic passenger transport vehicles 3- Lack of Operational Control Center (OCC) in Ministry of Public Works and Transport

-Traffic flow will be significantly improved -Contribute to addressing traffic congestion and road accidents -The public transport sector in Cambodia will have sustainable development -the citizen will be kept informed by the broadcasting from OCC
