- To conserve and develop genetic resources of valuable tree species in Cambodia
- To enhance the capacity and knowledge of local government staff and foresters through capacity building programs;
- To promote natural resources conservation through rural economic development and reducing dependence on forest with eco-forest farm as alternate community livelihoods; and
- To disseminate and extend the project experiences and lessons through publication, leaflets, posters, videos, internet for better sustain the management activities after the project is accomplished. |

This project has signed MOU between State Forestry Administration the People’s Republic of China and The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia on January 11, 2018 in Cambodia. This project will be implemented for eight years over the period from 2020 to 2028. |

This project will reduce poverty through 2 main activities; 1/ Demonstration site for eco-forest farm as alternate livelihood improvement and 2/ Forest genetic resource conservation garden of valuable tree species. This two site will become the tourist site in the near future. |
