Develop multi-hazard and climate risk assessments at the national and subnational levels and update them every year. These assessments ought to include maps of the regions that disasters will most likely affect. A multi-hazard and climate risk assessment can be used as a map to help plan and program for development. It also told the user about the resources and abilities of the strategic priorities to reduce risk and help people get back on their feet after a disaster. In particular, the annual development will be used to track how the risk of disaster is changing over time.

Develop multi-hazard and climate risk assessments at the national and subnational levels and update them every year, Including maps of the most vulnerable communities to disasters.

The Emergency Response Operation and Recovery Department and the Disaster Management Information Department will work together to create multi-hazard and climate risk assessments. They will do this by using disaster impact information from the Cambodia Disaster Loss and Damage Information System (CamDi) and Platforms for Real-time Impact and Situation Monitoring (PRISM), as well as real-time assessment, a consultative process, and analysis. Multihazard and climate risk assessments will be made at the national and subnational levels. These assessments will include maps of the areas that are most likely to be affected by disasters. The hazard risk maps will be launched and given to all ministries, development partners, NGOs, and the private sector.

Risk information from multi-hazard and climate risk assessments is used to create guidelines for making national development plans and working with development partners, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the private sector. It gives evidence to help with development planning in a certain place to make sure that there are ways to reduce losses or damage that could happen and, in particular, to help planners make extra budgets, reduce risks, and plan for how to respond to a disaster.

Multi-hazard and climate risk assessments and vulnerable maps will help development planners directly because they will be used as a justification for backing strategic and program development, especially to protect the investments of the government and other stakeholders when the correct measures are taken into account in the strategy and program. It will also help the commune authority fully comprehend the map of hazards and climate risks in their commune, which will help them make and carry out a good plan for commune development. Long-term, it will keep track of how disaster and climate risk in a community or country changes over time. This will help us predict the trend and come up with risk assumptions.

This is a nonstructural project, so it won't have any physical effects on the environment. However, the goal of the project is to help reduce poverty in the population by promoting sustainability and resilience in the economy and development through preparedness and prevention measures that look ahead to the risks and risk maps that have been identified. |

The entire community (women, men, children and other vulnerable people) is an important component for the success and achievement of project objectives. They will be involved in all activities and stages of the project management cycle. |

The National Committee for Disaster Management has competent officers to implement the project. They have experience in financial management, project management, monitoring and evaluation, etc. They are trained by recognized institutions both in the country and abroad and have experience in implementing partnership projects with the United Nations Development Agency and international NGOs.
