This project is the important road that link NR5 and NR6, and also is the important passageway that connects Battambang and Siem Reap Province. That construction of this project can improve the highway network and standard level of highway in the north western Cambodia and reduce the length of travel between two provinces |

Construction project of national road from Battambang-Siem Reap located at the north western of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Battambang and Siem Reap Province. This project has total length 72.154km; starting point from the west side of provincial capital of Battambang province, crosses NR5 and the construction beltway at PK302+325, and the ending point is in Sasar Sdam district, Siem Reap province intersection NR6 at PK343+100. |

The construction of the project can improve the traffic condition for people who live along west Tonlesap because of flooding during rainy season that vehicles cannot pass through most sections of the road. Moreover, this project also contributes in economic development of the local people as well as the whole nation economy though facilitate in transportation of crops of local people and attract tourist to visit local tourist attractions also. |
