Entrepreneurs Development
Cambodia’s industry development policy 2015-2025 focuses on SMEs management and development by facilitating & encouraging the enterprises' registration in Cambodia. By 2025 80-95% of SMEs will be registered. The project will be the one of the element to achieve the target.

13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.) |
- Strengthen and apply technical regulations, measures for bottle drinking water for enterprises’s operation and management.
- Entrepreneurs are able to develop adjustment plan for production improvement via quality checking/verifying/orientating on water quality standard and other mandatory compliance/monitoring procedure.
- Bottle drinking water enterprises in Kratie and Ratanakiri have capacity to Measures for the Management and Processing of Bottled Water Production Plants.
- Government officials (Phnom Penh Department of Industry & Handicraft) have capacity on enterprise monitoring site including process of producing bottled drinking water from water sources to bottling package.
- Unlicensed bottled drinking water supply enterprises in Kratie and Ratanakiri are able to access operating license and aware on standard marks

14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.) |
- Support the review, update and dissemination PRAKAS On the Measures for the Management and Processing of Bottled Water Production Plants, 2009.
- Model the revised Prakas On the Measures for the Management and Processing of Bottled Water Production Plants.
- Stregthen capacity of government officials (PDIH) on monitoring capacity on enterprise site including producedure of producing bottled drinking water from water sources to packaging bottle.
- Assess randomly selected enterprises in Kratie and Ratanakiri and develop correction action plan for production improvement by quality checking/verifying/orientating on water quality standard and other mandatory compliance/monitoring procedure.
- Support the facilitation of registery and licence application for unlicenced bottled drinking water supply enterprises in Kratie and Ratanakiri to obtain operating license and awareness raising on standard marks.

Capacity building government’s staffs and bottle drinking water enterprises on checking/verifying/orientating on water quality standard and other mandatory compliance/monitoring procedure for improving quality of bottle drinking water. |

Cambodian’s people, especially vulnerable and children are able to access good quality of drinking water, thus improving their livelihood and health. |

Poor quality water is harmful to the health of infectious diseases caused by bacterial and non-standard water-based chemicals, it is causing the whole society to experience many problems. This project really benefits the people, especially reducing the cost of treating and helping to reduce the poverty of the people in the provinces of Cambodia. |
