13. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: (Describe the major purpose of the project.)
The main purpose of this project is to Enhancement the transport operations safely and reliably by GPS equipment. To achieve this goal, the following four action plans must be implemented: 1) Launching media campaign to promote and encourage all logistics service providers to join, register, and legally install GPS with Reward Rating System 2) Develop a logistic service evaluation system for the transportation of goods and passengers 3) Setup Software and Server, manage GPS data, and provide data to partner, logistics services providers. 4) Stakeholder Training Program
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
In present, Cambodia, logistics cost rising, transportation delays and increasing travel distances by trucks, and lacking multi-modal transportation ability. To overcome these problems and provide benefits to logistics service providers and partners, tracing and tracking system development is good solution and will provide the following outcomes: -Get the information of the movement or location of the vehicle or container -Make traffic condition safety or reduce traffic congestion -Improve the company operations safely and reliably in transport cargo, and passengers -Decrease of transportation delays -Enhancement of investment climate of Cambodia -Storing data of vehicle moving to be analyzed Getting logistics data of vehicle truck accurately and timely crossing country, so it can reduce the cost and increase income to develop the logistics, industrial sector, and agro-industrial sector with the policy and Prakas 246 of Ministry of Public Works and Transport -Improve Logistics Performance Index (LPI) rank -Enable to achieve industrial Development Policy (IDP) 2015-2025
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
Track and trace mechanisms seamlessly integrate with supply chain management procedures and effectively, automate, modernize, and streamline processes that provide for greater visibility and coordination between authorities and the various bodies inevitably because of improved and efficient procedural work flows and processes. Thus, with Tracking the Tracing System Development will contribute to improve logistic sector in Cambodia as following: -Improve the consignment movements of Logistics services in Cambodia -Access information for all users through GPS Tracing and Tracking system for various logistic service providing companies and realization of logistics visualization. -Record the speed or daily activities of Logistics companies to improve the quality of Logistics services -Provide the accurate information to manage supply chain expectation of lead-time shortening for cost reduction -Analyze the issues of cargo transport security and data collection on logistics vehicle and track drives. -Get to know the real information of the whole flow of goods, whether any area has the potential to import, export goods or the size of the company's operations so that we can take data to analyze, monitor, flow of goods across the border or in a country.

The direct beneficiaries of the project will be Private Logistics Service Providers, Logistics Service Users (LSUs), International and local Partners, Cambodian, and RGC.
