To promote gender equity in Agricultural education
14. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (Provide a description of the project and all its components.)
Agriculture sector play very important role in Cambodia Economics. Agricultural development strategy in th NSDP result in increasing the human resource in this field. Therefore, the student enroll for agricultural education is increasing double for the 2010-2011, even it slightly decrease in the year 2015, however the number of women student is still limited due to the fact that there are limitation of accommodation. Thus the project will provide the suitable accommodation that could contribute to promote gender equity.
15. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: (Give reasons why this particular project is considered worthwhile.)
Women are key drivers of economic growth as their unique and important roles in agriculture and other industries coupled with their responsibilities as family, household, and community members often provide the basis for multiple economic and social gains (ACDI/VOCA). When women are empowered to have more influence over economic decisions, their families allocate more income to food, health, education, children’s clothing and children’s nutrition, (FAO, 2011). Thus the enhancing education of women through providing good environment could support above concept​​ to succeed.

The project will reduce the daily expense for student through providing reasonable price for accommodation to enhance their financial ability to support further study.
